Since 2007, SEG is proud to be a partner and sponsor of the Yaowawit School in Thailand.
Yaowawit’s aim is to break the cycle of poverty and provide orphans and disadvantaged children with the best theoretical and vocational education to allow them to aspire to good jobs and embrace a brighter future.
The Yaowawit Lodge, a 6-room lodge and restaurant was created so that students could learn skills in the hospitality industry. Each semester SEG selects a team of interns and recent graduates to manage the lodge and to introduce the world of hospitality and service to the older school children. By learning good basic hospitality skills the children will have the possibility to stay and work for the Yaowawit Lodge or to find work in local hotels and restaurants.
