The Swiss Hotel Schools Association (ASEH) met on February 11, 2015 in Berne bringing together 150 hospitality professionals and members of the diplomatic community. Through presentations and roundtable discussions, the members convened together to discuss the continuation of high academic standards based on theory and practice and how to nurture the image of excellence Switzerland holds within the international hospitality education sector.

Mr. Ambassador Nicolas Bideau, Head of Presence Switzerland for the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) sees the Swiss presence as a central theme to the future of the travel and tourism industry. He shared: "By capitalising on its hotel management schools, Switzerland has a real card up its sleeve. These schools represent an excellent opportunity to convey the image of Switzerland to other countries, and we must make the most of this."

Within ASEH, the Swiss Education Group plays a very prominent role representing 5 out of the 12 member schools. Within the General Assembly, Swiss Education Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Florent Rondez serves as the Vice President and Mr. Benoit Samson, Chief Brand & Marketing Officer serves as a member of the board.
