With Love, Brian May, QUEEN

Exactly 3 years ago, Swiss Education Group entered into a partnership with Mercury Phoenix Trust committing to raising funds in Freddie Mercury’s name towards the global battle against HIV/AIDS. 3 successful FREDDIE FOR A DAY epic events and numerous school organized fundraising initiatives later, the students of Swiss Education Group have raised over 223,000 CHF!

“Dear Swiss Education Group Students, once again you honor us with your fantastic contribution to the Mercury Phoenix Trust! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Incroyable! Merci!”
Love, Roger Taylor, QUEEN

In a truly memorable moment, Swiss Education Group CEO, Florent Rondez presented the cheque to Queen band members Brian May and Roger Taylor on June 21st backstage during a concert on the Queen + Adam Lambert European Tour in Bucharest, Romania. Romanian César Ritz Colleges student and SAF President, Alex Georgescu was invited by Swiss Education Group to participate in this unforgettable experience.

The Mercury Phoenix Trust was founded by Brian May, Roger Taylor and their manager Jim Beach in memory of rock band Queen’s iconic lead singer FREDDIE MERCURY who died in 1991 from AIDS.
